Adjudicator Training



The Defense Security Service (DSS) currently offers adjudications training to U.S. government civilians and military personnel. This training discusses the role of adjudicators in assuring selection of persons for access to classified information and/or assignment in sensitive positions meets adjudicative standards.

A complete course description for the DoD Personnel Security Adjudications and DoD Advanced Personnel Security Adjudications Courses can be viewed in the course catalog. Enrollment in these courses can be accomplished by visiting DSS Academy Education Network Registration and On-Line Learning (ENROL).

DSS also hosts the Director National Intelligence (DNI) Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Adjudications Seminar. This course is designed to prepare individuals to make adjudicative decisions consistent with SCI requirements. The course provides approaches to enhance the best practices and reciprocity across the Intelligence Community and DoD organizations authorized to adjudicate for SCI access.
